Top 8 Things to Do in Ibiza

Ibiza is best known for its nightlife and party atmosphere. However, this amazing island has so much more to offer. Anyone who is considering looking for properties for sale in Ibiza should find out more about the many attractions and activities available here throughout the year.

Here are some of the best:

1. Hire a yacht
What could be more synonymous with luxury than riding the waves of a luxury yacht or boat? Even if you don’t have the cash to purchase your own, this does not mean that you cannot enjoy the experience. Many companies around the coast offer the opportunity to hire a yacht or a boat for the day and it provides you with an excellent way to see the island from a different perspective.

2. VIP tables
Many evening venues across the island offer VIP tables. One such club is Pacha. Book yourself a VIP table to enjoy an evening of fun in the style of a celebrity. Avoid the queues and get personal waitress service to make the most of your night.

3. Champagne Solutions
If you are looking for luxury villas for sale in Ibiza, there may be times when you don’t feel like going out and just want to enjoy some downtime in your villa. This doesn’t mean that you can’t have fun and live a luxury lifestyle. Champagne Solutions provides the perfect way to enjoy the experience of a night out without having to take one step away from your villa. All your favourite brands of champagne are supplied in an order tailored to your tastes and needs and then delivered directly to your villa.

4. Massage therapy
Take away the stresses and strains of a busy day with a nice relaxing massage. If relaxation is important to you, this is a great alternative to lying on the beach. There are many services offering massages across the island and there are many potential health benefits to this type of therapy.

5. Sa Capella
If fine dining is an important part of your lifestyle, then you should definitely visit Sa Capella. Located in San Antonio, this restaurant is located in a converted church. The setting gives an amazing ambience for you to enjoy the highest quality food made using fresh, local produce. This restaurant serves both Spanish and international cuisine.

6. Ibiza Horse Valley
This is a sanctuary for horses that have previously been mistreated. Visitors to the sanctuary can camp with the horses, trek in the hills or enjoy a beach hack. As one may expect, this is an activity better suited to those who already have horse riding experience.

7. Museu d’Art Contemporani (MACE)
For lovers of art, history and culture, this could be the perfect daytime activity for you. Japanese art and photography are amongst the many exhibits on display here. The permanent display is of works by the Ibizan artist, Marí Ribas Portmany. This museum and art gallery is located in Ibiza Town in an old powder house and armoury. The museum also has an archaeological site that visitors can explore.

8. Ibiza’s Cathedral
This Catalan Gothic structure was built during the fourteenth century and, in 1592, the sacristy was added. The whole cathedral underwent renovation during the eighteenth century as it was, unfortunately, in a state of disrepair. Now, however, the cathedral has many attractions and as well as appreciating the architecture when you visit, you can also take in the religious art in the Museu Diocesà housed within the building.

These are just some of the many delights that the island has to offer. Anyone looking for property for sale in Ibiza can look forward to activities, events and attractions throughout the year.
