Unusual Activities to Enjoy in Mallorca

The island of Mallorca is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe. The fantastic Mediterranean climate and beautiful views are just two of the attractions that drive people here in their droves. When people decide to buy property abroad, Mallorca is often the first place they will look for a property. There are many fantastic properties for sale in Mallorca but, before you decide to move here, you are likely to want to know what there is for you to do in your free time. Along with the excellent food and stunning beaches, there are also lots of unusual activities to enjoy on this island:

Helicopter rides

Once you are familiar with everything in Mallorca at ground level, taking in the island from a bird’s eye view is a great way to get a different perspective on Mallorca. Feeling brave? Then take to the controls yourself with some flying lessons.

Beer bike tours

You can hire a beer bike to take you and a group of friends sightseeing around the island. These pedal-powered travelling pubs are one of the craziest ways to explore everything that Mallorca has to offer.

Trike tours

If touring the island on a travelling pub is not to your taste, there are plenty of other unusual ways you can see the sights of the island. One of these is the trike tour. Get yourself behind the wheel and enjoy five hours of fun as you complete your trip around the island.


For adrenalin junkies, a fantastic physical activity you can do in Mallorca is canyoning. One of the best destinations to enjoy this activity is the canyon Mortitx. Enjoy a challenging climb before experiencing the thrill of canyoning back down to where you started. The islands stunning waterfalls are something you can also admire during this activity.

Sea caving

Mallorca has some amazing caves and many of these can only be reached via the sea. A guide will take you on a short swim to the cave entrance before leading you on an underground adventure. There you will enjoy a fantastic caving experience, finding your way through the maze of rocks and seeing the magical cave lakes. This is a great way to cool off on the hottest days.

Sunset horse riding

The sunsets of Mallorca are spectacular, and what better way to view them than from horseback? A guide will lead your group through forests and across beaches during sunset. This is followed by food, wine and dancing back at the ranch, a perfect end to a perfect day.
